Jan Mostrom

Jan has been weaving since the mid-70s, focusing on Scandinavian traditions. Having no choice, her grandmother taught her to embroider before she started school. Since then she has pursued many types of textile handwork such a knitting, quilting, stitching, and primitive rug hooking.  Along the way, she started using natural dyes for her materials.  Jan rarely spends a day without needles or a shuttle in her hands.
