The House of Collections had some lovely tapestries.

This magical shadow puppet art was also at the House of Collections offering patrons a chance to participate.

The National Museum is home to many Viking artifacts including weapons and decorative items in metal. It also houses many historical textiles. Many if these are embroidered liturgical items along with practical items. It is truly a cultural gem.
Here is a mitten created by nalbinding, an older technique than knitting.

Here are beautiful examples of traditional knitted shoe inserts.

This large weaving is an example of the glitt technique, unique to Iceland.
